2016 Thank You Video
Salute from the Shore VII was a huge success again this Fourth of July!
Please enjoy this year's video of the Salute to the men and women of the military for their service and sacrifice.
Special thanks is owed to the 169th Fighter Wing at McEntire Joint National Guard Base, Charleston Air Force Base and Joint Base Charleston and the volunteer vintage pilots for serving as the focal point of this year’s Salute! Additionally, we want to thank all of you that showed up on the shores of South Carolina this Fourth of July to Salute the planes as a show of appreciation for all the freedoms provided by those who serve our country!
In order to spread our appreciation even further, please share this video with friends and family, especially those who are serving or have served our country. Also, share any photos and videos you have of the Salute by emailing them directly to us at salute@salutefromtheshore.org.
Thank you again for supporting Salute from the Shore's mission to honor the military and celebrate their sacrifices every Fourth of July!

A C-17 Will Fly Today!
The Bad News and the Good News
The bad news is that unfortunately, only three of the eight vintage planes are able to fly today due to mechanical issues…
However, the good news is that the one of the biggest transport planes in the American military will fly today! Charleston AFB and Joint Base Charleston will fly a C-17 on the SC coast in support of the 169th Fighter Wing F-16s and the vintage planes. This year’s Salute promises to the the best yet.
Catch the Wave of Patriotism on the SC coast today, July 4th, starting at 1:00pm! See our schedule for more details on the times and locations of the flyover.
Are you planning a salute? Share it on social media and caption it with #salutefromtheshore. You can also email it to us at salute@salutefromtheshore.org so that we can include it in our photo gallery.
Celebrate, Honor, Participate. See you on the beach!
