Join us on the coast of South Carolina for this year's Salute From the Shore on July 4th. At 1 PM, F-16s from McEntire Joint National Guard Base will make their way down the coastline, beginning at Cherry Grove in North Myrtle Beach and ending in the Beaufort/Bluffton area in the Low-country. Following the active military aircraft will be an all-volunteer brigade of Warbirds, a civilian-owned and flown vintage plane community that will include T-34s, T-6s, and T-28s (plus a few other varieties weather permitting). As all aircraft make their way down the coast, time between planes may extend up to 45 minutes as airspeeds vary greatly among the vintage planes. We recognize and applaud the sacrifice these (on-duty and off-duty) pilots have made to fly on a holiday and in support of this event, and we hope you enjoy the afternoon on the beach as you create and post your own "salute" to our active and retired military personnel around the world on this special day! #SFTS2024
